Role: Resident Services Coordinator 
Reports to: Director of Property Management 
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Starts at $45k base, with quarterly bonus potential 
Location: Des Moines, IA

SUMMARY --
As a Resident Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including collecting rent, drafting and distributing legal notices, enforcing lease agreements, attending court when needed, and overseeing all legal processes. We are seeking a self motivated individual who has a high attention to details while also understanding the various leases held by residents across the portfolio. This key player would work closely with the management team to ensure that the leases continue to be followed by both residents and landlord parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES --

  • Monitors rental payments and takes action on late payments for the portfolio of properties
  • Ensures compliance with rental agreements and regulations
  • Issues official notices and initiates eviction proceedings
  • Represents landlord in legal proceedings as required
  • Create detailed reports showcasing the status of each property in the portfolio 
  • Other tasks as assigned such as Onabording new properties and document management   

REQUIREMENTS --

  • Capable of interpreting legal documents
  • Proficient in utilizing appropriate verbiage to enforce leasing contracts
  • Demonstrates extreme precision and accuracy when completing tasks.
  • Possess strong proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (including Excel)
  • Display exceptional interpersonal and written communication abilities
  • Utilize critical thinking, problem solving, and sound decision-making
  • Effectively manage time and balance multiple tasks
