Landscape Maintenance Technician

Summary
We are seeking a Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep of our properties and landscapes and is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful, safe, and welcoming environments for our residents. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of fostering growth and maintaining high standards in our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping tasks on multi-family residential properties such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering and weeding.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment complex grounds, including lawns, walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
- Remove debris, trash, and litter from the grounds daily.
- Ensure that all outdoor facilities, including playgrounds, pool areas, and recreation spaces, are clean and in good repair.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed, such as painting, pressure washing and basic repairs.
- Utilize power and hand tools effectively for various maintenance projects.
- Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration and health of plants.
- Conduct groundskeeping activities including lawn care and landscape maintenance.
- Assist in the installation and repair of landscaping features as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Conduct snow removal/ ice management during winter months.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools usage.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instruction and/or continuous supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a working vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent- must be 18 years or older
